App 2.0 Release Notes

Our vision at Fareway Golf is to be the one-stop shop for booking tee times and playing contests and tournaments.

Golfers are not a monolithic group. You have the first-timers, falling in love a with a sport they can play for years and years to come. The new parents, who are trying to find some way to just squeeze in a few rounds a year. The weekend warriors, who get their greatest joy from making loops - rain or shine. Don’t forget the game-makers, sports-betters, trip-planners, exercise-lovers, and competition-grinders. The list goes on and on.

No matter why you love and play the game, we believe it should be easier to get out and play, and to get the most out of each golfing experience. This is why we exist and its our mission to eat away at the friction points that get in the way of you playing and enjoying golf.

After releasing App 1.0 - which was focused on facilitating ProAm tournaments - we are excited to announce our App 2.0 launch this summer. In addition to a summer ProAm tournament schedule, we made the following things for you.

📲 Improved ProAm Experience

Guest Registration and Expanded Booking Windows

  • You can now register guests and multiple teams for golfers who do not have the app yet - giving more control the the tee time organizers out there.

  • Book your simulator reservations as far out as you'd like and up to three weeks in advance for on-course play.

Integrated Leaderboards and Faster Results

  • See integrated leaderboards for simulator events that are held at multiple locations with faster pro score updates.

⛳Tee Time Searching and Booking

  • Compare and browse tee times all in one place for 100+ of the most popular courses in the Twin Cities

  • Set quick search profiles to search your preferred locations with a tap of a button

  • Set tee time notifications to be alerted if a tee time becomes available

✨The FareCaddie

  • FareCaddie is the Fareway Golf AI assistant. Ask the FareCaddie anything from what the tips play at, to how to handicap your scramble game, to searching and finding your next tee time.

🏌️‍♂️Private Games and Contests

  • Whether it's your foursome, a golf trip, or a charity event - Quickly and easily set up golf contests and games.

  • Add or register golfers, set teams, and see live results all in the Fareway Golf app.
