Week and season-long, app-managed events that are a great excuse to get together with your friends and add a little juice to your golf experiences.

Floating Leagues

Are season long and allow you play your rounds flexibly throughout the season. You compete against others in the events you play and over the full season, earning points towards prizes and a chance at the League Championship.

Open Play Tournaments

Are multi-week events that are open registration. You can join any time it works for you, play your round, and compete against others that are playing in that tournament, earning chances at placed and random prizes.

Formats

Standard Formats

Standard formats bring you the best tried and true simulator formats. The 2025-26 season will offer both team best ball and scramble scoring options.

All standard formats are (2) two-player team formats.

ProAm Formats

ProAms combine live golf and fantasy sports. You draft (2) pro golfers to join your team from a slate of pros playing in the week’s pro tournament. Their scores combine with yours to compete for prizes and bragging rights.

ProAms are offered with both scramble and best ball scoring. All ProAm formats are two-player team formats.

How does a ProAm work?

A ProAm combines simulator golf with fantasy golf to level up your experience. It's simple:

1) Register for the Contest and Pick your Pro Players

Open the Fareway app to find and book a tee time in the ProAm Contest at one of our participating simulator locations.

Before finalizing your registration in the contest, you will also draft 2 PGA Tour players from that week's tournament to add to your team.

2) Play your simulator round

When your tee time arrives, play your simulator round and tally up your Team Scramble score in the Fareway app.

3) Track the leaderboard

Tune in to the PGA Tour event and track your players because they impact your score! Each player's best single round score (to par) from the event will be added to your Team Scramble score to create your ProAm score. 

Scores will be updated on the Leaderboard in the Fareway app.

4) Win Prizes!

If you and your Pros rise to the top, you can win gift card prizes to your favorite golf stores - learn more below in the FAQ.

FAQ

  • Floating Leagues:

    • $440/team for the season

    • Fees are all-in and include taxes, simulator time, prize pool contributions, $15 food & bev credit per session, and access to special prizes and giveaways

    Floating Tournaments:

    • Contest Entry: $15/player plus taxes and fees (simulator time not included)

    • Simulator Fees: varies by location.

    Contest fees paid at check-in. Tee time fees paid at location.

  • Prizes are paid out in gift cards and will be awarded on a sliding scale based on the number of registrations.

    10 teams:

    • 3 winners: ο»Ώ1st, 2nd, and one randomly selected

    • $200+ in prizes

    20 teams:

    • 5 winners: ο»Ώ1st, 2nd, 3rd, Flight 2, and one randomly selected

    • $400+ in prizes

    30 teams

    • 7 winners: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Flight 2, Flight 3, and two randomly selected

    • $600+ in prizes

    • Bonus giveaway unlocked - varies per event

    40 Teams

    • 9 winners: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Flight 2, Flight 3, Flight 4, and two randomly selected

  • You can see all locations that events are held at by browsing contests in the app.

  • Fareway Golf ProAm is a new-to-the-world side game that brings together fantasy sports and live play to allow you to compete with your favorite golfers.

    You will select two pro golfers as a part of your contest registration and their performance in the event’s pro tournament will count towards your team score.

  • We take several measures to uphold the integrity of the contests that we run. At the end of the day, we play a game that’s based on integrity, and unfortunately, cheaters are going to cheat. These events are not professional events - they should be competitive, but most importantly fun. Our stance is that there’s no room for cheaters in these events.

    Fortunately, it is fairly difficult to cheat in a simulator environment. We also take the following additional measures:

    • We will track a Fareway adjustment based on your results

    • We will monitor a player’s Fareway scores against a players GHIN and historical scores to proactively investigate discrepancies.

    • We will offer a reporting system if players see suspicious or unfair practices

    • We will verify scorecards via scorecard photos.
